TEHRAN-- The explosion heard on Thursday night in Karaj city was brought on by the Basijs over night drills, Tasnim reported.
Citing a notified source, Tasnim stated the sound of surge and shots that were heard in the residential areas of Karaj on Thursday night were associated with a drill carried out by the Basij forces.According to the source, the Basij forces are going to a training course at the Shahid Motahari training school near Karaj, and the noise of explosion was connected to the surge of fougasse -a type of improvised explosive gadget- that is consistently used in the war games. Moreover, the forces that are receiving training in the camp have used tracer ammunition to shoot at theoretical targets in the drill, the source added. The nighttime fight workouts belong to the 45-day training courses of the Basij that are consistently held throughout the country.
